Initial Registration
- Initial Registration Class Requests are accepted from March 4-10, 2019. After initial registration ends, students will be placed in classes based on requests, popularity, and class makeup. Alternate classes that hour will be cut. We will strive to place students in their first choice classes whenever possible, however no student is guaranteed placement in first choice classes and in some cases may be placed into a second choice class.
- Confirmation Period At the end of the Initial registration period, each student will be emailed their schedule and will have ONE WEEK to confirm their classes or request changes for no additional fee. After the one week confirmation period ends, any drops/changes will be subject to a $25/class fee.
- Open Registration Period March 11- August 15, 2019 (OVA Students Close April 1, 2019). Classes offered will be those chosen from the Initial Registration Period and will be open until filled.
- Open Confirmation Period- One Week After a Registration Request has been received, the student will be placed in classes. We will strive to place students in their first choice classes whenever possible, however no student is guaranteed placement in first choice classes and students may be placed into a second choice class or be put on the waitlist. The student will be emailed their schedule and will have ONE WEEK to confirm their classes or request changes for no fee. After the confirmation period, any drops/changes will be subject to a $25/class fee (see below).
Tuition, Deposits, Drop/Change Fees:
- Current ULA Students already enrolled with OVA will be able to register for 4 OVA funded classes next year due to new state funding laws (2 for FT). All other classes will be Self Pay and subject to Self Pay policies. Any drops or changes made after the confirmation period will be subject to a $25/class fee.
- Self Pay Students will be required to pay a $25/class hour deposit when registering. After classes are confirmed, you will be invoiced for the remaining tuition balance (tuition less deposit). Payment is due ONE WEEK after receiving invoice or your class reservations will be cancelled. The deposit is forfeited if the classes are cancelled for any reason after the confirmation period.
- NEW ULA Students already enrolled with OVA -or- Current ULA Students enrolling with OVA now will be required to pay a $25/class hour deposit when registering. If classes are cancelled for any reason after the confirmation period, the deposit is forfeited. If for any reason a student does not meet the requirements for OVA funding, the student will be moved to self-pay and will be responsible for complete tuition or forfeiture of deposit. The deposit is refundable after the first week of classes when OVA funding has been confirmed.
